Meet Steven and Ryan

Steven: Hello!  As stated above my degree is in Exercise Science from USF; Go Bulls! I have always been into sports and weight lifting.  I competed in both wrestling and track and field in High school, which is the reason I became fascinated by how the human body works. Currently,  I am a trainer for LA Fitness and I am able to work with and help people rehab from old injuries and reach their goals. I am extremely interested in working with special populations such as people with Parkinson’s, stroke survivors, ADHD, prosthetic, and more.

Ryan: Hi everyone! My name is Ryan Esenwein. Like Steven, I graduated from USF with a degree in exercise science. I am also a certified personal trainer through ACSM. My passion for fitness began with my baseball career. I played baseball throughout my whole life and even a couple years in college at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Even though I played sports my whole life I wasn’t always into fitness. I stopped playing baseball at Armstrong due to injuries and I decided to move to Tampa and focus on my  schooling. I soon realized I became passionate about health and fitness. I have lost over 50 pounds myself and have put on a lot of muscle in the process too. I now currently work at Tampa General Hospital as a fitness specialist trying to help others reach their health and fitness goals.
